Hey reader, in this blog, you will know about the techniques to be consistent and become self-disciplined.

Before starting let’s see what consistency is:
*Consistency is the process of repeating an activity over and over again for a period of time*

Is this the exact and only meaning of consistency? Obviously NO. But by the end of the blog, you’ll figure out what consistency means and how to be consistent.

Techniques to stay consistent:

1)Setting Priorities

Start with setting your priorities and goals that really matter which make you get up and do work even though you don’t feel to do.

If you really want it, the hurdles and distractions on the way will disappear. Prioritizing the things that you have to do makes you more clear and more consistent. Make the right choices and stay focused to complete it.

2) Keep your eye on why

We should always have the reason “the why” for which we have started taking the particular action. We should be clear about why to do this particular thing and how it can benefit us in the future.

Starting with a why is very important for long-term consistency and focus. This helps us a lot in being consistent.

3) One thing at one time

“Choose and start doing one thing at one time”

Choosing and doing one thing at one time helps us to be more focused and not easily give away. By taking Small Consistent Actions one can do wonders and solve problems in real life and make a massive change in the world.

For Example: If I try breaking 10 pencils at a time, will they break? No. But If I start with one pencil at a time it is easily breakable.

Likewise, in the above example, the technique for being consistent is doing one thing at one time instead of doing multiple things and failing in doing it for a longer period.

4) Ignore your feelings and catch the wagon

Sometimes we feel not to do anything and we simply waste our time. Your heart will say “Wiah! I don’t feel to do it”, but that’s the time to get up and catch the wagon. We will probably fall off the wagon, but that’s totally fine. What matters is getting up and running for it.

This is the most difficult part but it will help you to be consistent and achieve your goals.

“ Follow your heart less and Follow your mind more” and try to make the balance which leads us to be consistent in long term.

5) Share your journey to the world

For staying consistent we can share our journey with the world via Social Media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. This habit helps us for being consistent as it is connected to our profile and people can see what we are doing in our life.

These days there is a trend observed, that people are posting and sharing the things they are doing & learning which helps them to be on track and consistent.

If you procrastinate a lot and looking for a solution to get rid of it then click here.

These are the few techniques that I researched and some of them are which I use for being consistent.

“Consistency is not being consistent every time, but at the times of temporary failures to get up and do the things, which make you actually consistent.”

Lastly by the quote from Swami Vivekananda “ All power is within you; you can do anything and everything. Believe in that, do not believe that you are weak, You can do anything and everything. Stand up and express the divinity within you.”, I’ll end my blog.

Hope that this blog adds value to you of any kind.
